Product Regulation & Compliance Manager

Your key responsibilities include:
- Tracking and interpreting European (and where relevant, national) legislation, standards, directives, and norms.
- Representing WindowMaster in Danish and European Standards forums, delivering input to drafts, proposals, consultations, to help shape upcoming standards and regulation relevant to facade automation and building ventilation systems.
- Assessing the impact of regulatory changes on WindowMaster’s product lines and identifying what actions the changes require.
- Collaborating closely with Research & Development, Product Management, Manufacturing, Marketing and Sales teams.
- Communicating regulatory developments to senior leadership and providing recommendations and scenarios.
- Maintaining and updating a regulatory register covering all relevant directives, regulations, standards, certifications, and performance requirements.
- Staying ahead of trends in natural and mixed-mode ventilation, smoke and heat ventilation, BMS integration, energy efficiency, product sustainability, and cyber-security.
- Compliance planning and alignment to overall product roadmaps.
What we expect of you:
- An in-depth understanding of EU’s regulatory landscape of electromechanical systems, sensors, safety, smoke and heat ventilation, and building automation.
- Hands-on experience working with building automation, ventilation systems, or similar solutions.
- A track record of participation in national or European standard‐setting bodies.
- A strong analytical mindset and capability to map regulatory risks, likelihood and impact.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convert technical and regulatory knowledge into relatable content for our stakeholders.
- Proactivity, a strategic mindset, and the ability to anticipate changes.
- Transparent, thorough, and possessing high standards.
Your qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-7 years in regulatory compliance, product safety, standards management or similar roles in e.g. the building automation, ventilation, or facade control industry.
- A relevant education, e.g. an engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, control systems or similar), or a similar technical education.
- Knowledge of European regulation directives and standards relevant to WindowMaster’s offerings, such as CE marking requirements, EMC, Low Voltage / Electrical Safety, Machinery Directive, CPR, heat and smoke ventilation standards.
- Fluent in English and Danish, other European languages are a plus.
- Great skills in terms of communication, structure, and planning.
