Product Marketing Manager

We are looking for a competent and experienced Product Marketing Manager that is customer centric, analytical and have an ability to grasp and condense technical capabilities into easy-to-understand communication

You will become member of our Product Management team currently existing of 8 colleagues. You will maintain existing products and make sure that supporting documentation is up to speed with our latest product developments. Including go to market plans, marketing material, manuals, pricing and certifications. At the same time, you will promote existing and new products both internally and externally.

Core Responsibilities and key tasks

  • Lead internal project teams to success
  • Lead processes for smooth co-corporation between Product Management, R&D, Production, Sales and Marketing.
  • Secure time to market for selected product areas
  • Plan and host internal training for new and existing products
  • Support development of healthy business cases for new products
  • Maintain global competitor overview – specs, functionality, pricing
  • Give input to and maintain global pricing
  • Set direction for product introductions: Product positioning and Unique Selling Points
  • Brief Marketing teams and follow-up
  • Ongoing lifecycle management
  • Maintenance of system and product data such as data sheets
  • Responsible for creation and communication of product changes to production
  • Secure up-to-date pricing and product data in Business Central
  • Develop and maintain manuals
  • Support approval and certification processes

Professional competencies, knowledge and experience

  • A commercial background or technical background with commercial experience
  • At least 5 years experience from a position in product marketing or product management working with hardware or software related products
  • Strong communication, presentation and inter-personnel skills – excellent spoken and written English is a must and German is preferred
  • Knowledge about the building industry / building materials is a plus (but not a requirement)
  • Experience with Business Central, MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Business understanding – from development, marketing over supply chain and to sales
